Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3: 20
When the woman was caught in adultery the law of Moses said she should be stoned, so the scribes and pharisees ask Jesus what he thought about it. Jesus said he who is without sin let him throw the first stone. They all were convicted by their own conscience, from the oldest to the youngest, and they all left her alone. Jesus rose up from writing on the ground and said where are are your accusers? no man condemns you, neither do I go and sin no more.
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of Grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but BELIEVES on him that justifieth the ungodly, his FAITH is counted for righteousness. Romans 4: 4-5
By one man Adam, sin entered the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men for all have sined. Sin has reigned unto death, even so might Grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus.
