The Ephod is the second garment mentioned in GOD’S commandment to make Holy garments for the Priests from the tribe of Levi. You shall make Holy garments for glory and for beauty. These garments were made to consecrate the Priests for special Holy services.
The Ephod was made to have two onyx stones attached to the shoulder piece: and on these two onyx stones engrave the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, six names on one onyx stone and six names on the other onyx stone. The Priest shall wear these stones as a memorial before the LORD.
All true believers are now priests unto GOD. We have free access to the Holiest of all to pray, be thankful, find purpose, healing, whatever you need.
