The Mitre is another piece of clothing that the Priest wore when they went into the Holy Place to minister. This plate was inscribed with the words “Holiness to the Lord” and it was to be worn upon Arron’s forehead every time he went into the Tabernacle to the Holy Place to the Holy of Holies. The curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies is the curtain that was torn from top to bottom when Jesus died on the cross.
The Mitre was worn to remove any sin associated with the Holy gifts from the people that were were consecrated to GOD, that the gifts would be accepted by GOD. When Jesus died on the cross and the veil or curtain was torn from top to bottom we were given full and free access to the presence of GOD and Jesus being the perfect sacrifice died for my sins and We are accepted by GOD.
