If JESUS was baptized I think we all need to be baptized. There is only one way to be baptized, that is by the HOLY GHOST: The SPIRIT descended on JESUS like a dove, and yes he was submerged in the river Jordan. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; he shall baptize you with the HOLY GHOST, and with fire: Matthew 3: 11
JESUS in his resurrected body commanded the apostles that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the father, which saith he ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the HOLY GHOST not many days hence Acts 1: 4-5 Thats when they were all filled with the HOLY GHOST and began to speak width other tongues.
Again JESUS said except a man be born of water and of the SPIRIT he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. John 3:5
I was baptized by water at birth and again at Mt.Calvery Church in Youngstown Ohio, but in 1978 I was driving from Virginia to South Carolina when the HOLY GHOST came upon me and I was filled with the SPIRIT: love, life, power… I haven’t been the same since that day. There are many examples of people being baptized in the Bible with different results don’t let anything stop you.
